An Almond Tree Christmas 

On Thursday 8th December between 10.30 am - 2.30 pm we had a pop up event for our former loyal customers, staff and new friends of the Almond Tree.
There was live music, Christmas Carols, coffee and much cake was eaten.
There were many happy reunions and the event was very much enjoyed by all.
​Although the event was free, £550 was donated which the Almond Tree are delighted to have passed on to a project we have supported for a number of years in Tajikistan (see further information below)

A lady of 92 was delighted to  be back in the Almond Tree . She loved meeting  & chatting with the staff and volunteers  and other people she knew again, She loved the cakes too! She used to came every week and has really missed coming

Our  Friends in Tajikistan

​The Families Together project in Tajikistan provides targeted support to families who require practical and financial help. They are at risk of being separated due to poverty and under pressure in a variety of ways.
​
We help to provide: clothes, medicine, transport, documents, and other types of assistance that they cannot access. We also work alongside other projects that address their wider needs.
